We've Moved!!!
Okay, so it's not quite the "big" move to West Valley, but it's still a big change. We have a new website! You can now follow the happenings of the Cambodian CRC at www.cambodiancrc.org. This is an exciting new move for us. Hopefully you'll stop by to the new site soon.

The "Heart of Worship"
The Worship band will be hosting a music worship night. Songs of worship will be sung around a fire-pit accompanied by acoustic guitars. Both contemporary and traditional songs will be played, including songs from Hillsong, Casting Crowns, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, and many other artists. The theme for the night is “The Heart of Worship", urging Christians that it's not about the songs that we sing or the performances we put on, it's about worshiping God, and nothing else. This event will be held Friday, July 18th from 8-11pm at Nhen and Dee’s Home.

Cookoff Kings and Queens
I am proud to announce that the winners of the 1st ever Cornerstone cookoff and now happy owners of what I'm told is supposed to be a golden spatula (it's actually bronze; and by the way, they left it on the steps outside of Mary's house overnight) is Team 2 consisting of their captain and griller, Harry and their "head chef," Kevin. Other members included Anna, Chans, Hensen, Jessica, Lena, Linda, Nicky, and Phillip. The chicken prepared by both teams was a virtual tie. Team 1 easily won the vegatable portion of the contest, but it wasn't enough to handle the amazing presentation of the plate presented by Team 2, as well as their sesame seed-coated beef kabobs (the overall best dish), giving Team 2 the first ever "golden" spatula. We should have pictures of the competition up soon. Congratulations to both teams on an amazing effort. Really, both teams won that day as they both presented amazing dishes, but only one team has proof of that in the form of a slighly damp bronze kitchen utensil. Again, congrats Team 2!
