About Our Youth Group

Our youth group consists of thirteen high school students who dedicate their time to learning more about Christ. During our study sessions, we relate the Bible's lessons to the life of a typical teenager to better understand ourselves and our growth as a teen Christian. Afterwards, we do fun activities like word games or ultimate frisbee.

Each month we plan a special activity that helps us to unwind from the stresses of school and work, clearing our worries so we may become closer to Christ. In the past, we've done combined activities with the First Church and Mountain Springs youth groups. Together, we have gone on a retreat up to Deer Valley, volunteered to help the community with household chores and yardwork, and have been on numerous camping trips.

Our main goal is to bring the youth of our community together so they may have a common place where they feel free to share their problems and ideas, get involved with the community, make new friends, learn about Christ, and have fun.
